FEATHERLIGHT
Featherlight is a kinetic artwork that combines movement, material and atmosphere. The freestanding installation features a transparent structure about 5 meters wide, filled with recycled material propelled by powerful air currents. Their swirling motion creates an ever-changing visual effect that feels alive and unpredictable.
The work explores how light interacts with motion without relying on a fixed lighting setup. We are also experimenting with inflatables, feathers, flower stems and recycled fabrics that can move within the installation, each creating a different texture and rhythm. This is something we can customize to the specific site.
Featherlight can be hung from rigging points or supported from the ground, offering flexibility for both festivals and exhibitions.
