ALTER EGO NIGHT — FLUOR FRAMES
For Alter Ego Night at Lofi, Estranged Studio suspended Fluor Frames — Day at Night above the dance floor. A series of fluorescent panels lights up in sequence, creating a frame-by-frame animation of the sun rising in the east and setting in the west.
The changing fluorescent glow suggests a moving horizon and a slow, rhythmic transition from day to night. The modular installation can be adapted in size, timing and layout. This setup has since been repurposed into a new stage design; new frames and custom compositions can be developed for other locations.
